HAIKUS and HIM (or, “Haikus and Hymn”!)

Want to write a Bible tome
Called “Haikus and Him”

What is not to like?

Noah won’t approve:
Ev’ry count used in haiku
Is an odd number.

Twice five syllables
Plus seven isn’t much, but
That’s haiku for you!

Amazing Grace, how
Sweet the sound that saved this wretch!
‘Twas blind; now I see.

The cold wind blows leaves.
I, too, am broken parts blown
In life’s hurricanes.
“Ash Wednesday”

God made the heavens and earth.
Then….Let There Be Light!

Noah built an ark
To hold two of ev’ry beast.
And then came the rain….

Couldn’t Noah wait
Just ten more minutes, so the
Unicorns could come?
