Maybe I should explain...

Yesterday, I posted an offer to access our site's Google Drive, where you could download any of my six books for free (with two more on their way, whenever I can get them to upload correctly!).

One of the first notes I got in response had a question that makes perfect sense on the surface -
"How do we know what each book is like? All we have is the title!"

If you were buying something we were sending you, that would be a problem - but that's not what's happening here!

What we're offering you is the opportunity to open any of the works in that library, peruse them to your heart's content, and if you find something you'd like to read, download all of for FREE.

So, rather than write out descriptions on here, we thought it more practical to just let you look for yourself!

However, I'm glad to give you a quick thumbnail for each if you'd like:

Her Name Is Alison - A young man loses the woman he loves in childbirth, eventually marries again but never really commits to his new family because he can't let go of what he lost. Through an inexplicable twist of fate, he learns what his life would have been like on the path he lost...

Day 0001: The Singularity and the Six-Day War - This book connects the occurrence of the first true artificial intelligence, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the Six-Day War between Israel and Egypt, and the Second Coming of Christ. It also explores the meaning of relationships...

Soul Mates - A fictionalized tale of my wife's life and death, and what happens to two people who were so connected in life that God gives them a reason to stay connected even after her death...

Day Eleven - For Pollard Templeton, a cross-country trip with college buddies turns into a coming-of-age adventure in which he ends up choosing between what's comfortable, what's familiar, and what's right.

God Is Just Like Any Other Dad...except, well, He's God! - This is a light-hearted study of Scripture that demonstrates how throughout the Bible, God demonstrates to us what we should be as parents, and what we can learn about God through His parenting of us.

God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit - Many of the poems and essays you've read in this blog are to be found in this collection of poems, lyrics, prose and essays about the Holy Trinity.

In addition, there are three other works that you might be able to look at if our sails are jibbed correctly...

Space Patrol! - already available, if you're curious: it's a musical I've written for the middle school level. Not Christian at all (not ANYTHING at all, except silly!). What's on here is the script and libretto; the music could be made available to you if you're interested about performing it.

FIVE - a novel of Christian science-fiction, and yes, that's a thing! It takes five stories from five different time periods and ties them up in the end against an evil leader....and that's all we'll tell you in advance. But you will recognize some of the, ah, source material we utilized!

Stone Robertson - This was my very first novel, written back in 2006, and was written to honor my father, who had always dreamed of teaming with me to do a musical about a high school band program. This was written before the Lord saved me, and it's not written as a work of Christian fiction. But it does provide an inside look at life in the environment I spent 29 years teaching in!

Is that sufficient? OK, so, to repeat: Send me your email address (I think it has to be a google-based email), and I'll share the access to our digital vault with you - then you can peruse the books at your leisure and download any of them you'd like, or all of them. The important part to me is that we spread the Word as far and wide as possible! Christ is Lord, and the more we can share that fact, the better!

Have a blessed day!

UPDATE!As of 3:35 p.m. Monday, we have ALL NINE of these works successfully up on the Google Drive more or less like I want them ("FIVE" especially caused a ton of trouble, for some reason!) Send me your email and I'll link you in to browse at your leisure, now or later!

Contact us at hesrdc@gmail.com any time, and we'll link you in for all nine books!
